Dog breeders have bred dogs for centuries to have certain traits that help humans live better lives. Dogs are bred for protection, herding, to be hypoallergenic, for companionship & more. Many dog breeds have been domesticated & would struggle to survive on their own. In my opinion, all dogs need humans, therefore all dogs are considered rescue dogs. It does not matter where they are purchased or rescued from, it could be pet stores or breeders, adopted, or rehomed from shelters. Dogs need human intervention. Dogs need us to feed, care for & love them!
